The upcoming album follows 2024’s UK platinum-certified Romance, signaling a decisive shift away from the guitar-heavy arrangements of the Irish five-piece’s earlier discography toward a more seductive, electronic-tinged landscape. Recorded across London, the English countryside, and Palermo, the album examines themes of pleasure, peril, and modern humanity. Frontman Grian Chatten described the record as a conceptual experiment, inviting listeners into a mood-altering sonic space.
Preceded by the lead single ‘Marianne’, the tracklist spans 11 new compositions: ‘Six Shot Morning’, ‘Marianne’, ‘Mimesis’, ‘Happy For You’, ‘Demolition’, ‘Tongue’, ‘One Man’, ‘Where Is Gone?’ (featuring ROSALÍA), ‘You Miss Me’, ‘Japan’, and ‘Intimate’. Dopamine Chamber will be available across standard and deluxe LP formats, CD, cassette, and digital streaming.
The album announcement comes as the Dublin band continues a massive run of international tour dates. Following sold-out arena runs across North America, Europe, and the UK in late 2026—including headline stops at London’s O2 Arena and Manchester’s AO Arena—Fontaines D.C. will transition to outdoor stadium shows in summer 2027.
The 2027 summer run features two headline nights at Ireland’s Slane Castle on 26 and 27 June, followed by landmark performances at Cardiff’s Blackweir Fields, Newcastle’s St James’ Park, Manchester’s Heaton Park, Glasgow Green, and a massive headline date at London Stadium on 9 July.
