Fontaines D.C., Kneecap and more donate prizes to ‘Records For Palestine’ online vinyl raffle

Fontaines D.C., Kneecap and more have donated prizes to the ‘Records for Palestine’ online vinyl raffle. Find all the details below.

Over 200 artists and 27 record labels have signed up to donate prizes in the name of raising money for Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP).

There will be two online raffles: one for alternative, indie and rock releases, and another for jazz, soul and groove. Alongside Fontaines and Kneecap, Nilüfer Yanya, Geese, Ezra Collective, Nubya Garcia, Billy Bragg, Yussef Dayes, Heartworms, Emma-Jean Thackray, Lambrini Girls and more have put forward vinyl for the raffle.

Labels such as Heavenly, Partisan Records, Speedy Wunderground, Cooking Vinyl, Alcopop, Gondwana, Brownswood and Habibi Funk are also participating in the raffle.

Speaking about the vinyl raffle, Records for Palestine said: “Many artists have been involved in fundraising and raising awareness from the web to the stage. Records For Palestine provides another way for artists, labels, curators and music fans to pledge support, allowing us to raise funds, whilst also giving artists and labels a platform to stand in visible solidarity with Palestinians.”

The prize draw will take place on May 7 – you must have a valid UK postal address to enter. Winners will be contacted via email.

Fontaines D.C. have expressed strong support for Palestine over the years. The Dublin band teamed up with Massive Attack and Young Fathers for a Gaza benefit single in 2023, later saying that supporting Palestine “really is the responsibility of anyone with a voice”. The band also won $2000 on a viral TikTok music quiz, donating it to Doctors Without Borders in Palestine.

They also spoke out in support of Kneecap during the latter’s alleged terrorism offence charge, which was eventually thrown out last September. Fontaines bassist Deego spoke to NME at the 2025 Mercury Prize about the “witch hunt” against Kneecap.

“I stand in solidarity with the boys, d’you know what I mean?” he told NME. “I think it’s amazing what they stand up for. I think it’s a very, very difficult situation for anyone to be put on the line in that way, but to not waver as well, to really stick to those beliefs. I think that it is a witch hunt. They’re trying to make an example of them, clearly.”

Kneecap would later speak out alongside Garbage and Massive Attack about their fears for Palestine Action prisoners on hunger strike in the UK.

Elsewhere, Kneecap have captured “revolutionary times” on their electric new single ‘Smugglers & Scholars’ – taken from their upcoming album ‘FENIAN’.
