Frank Turner’s wife Jessica Guise has revealed that their “marriage is over”, attributing the musician’s “actions on his US tour” as the main reason.
Guise took to her official Instagram account to share a photo of her and Turner sitting on a sofa in a loving embrace. The caption of the post began with Guise explaining that she had been putting off writing the explanation as she “didn’t want any of it to be true, but we’ve agreed that saying something before Lost Evenings might save some difficult questions.”
“Things have come to light about Frank’s actions on his US tour in June and since, which give me no choice but to accept that our marriage is over. This has all been very sudden and unexpected, and it has caused huge pain, but before any of this was a decade of love and joy; a quarter of our lives spent facing the world as a team, as best friends. We’re going to try to hold on to as much of that as we can,” she wrote.
Guise went on to share that they are “both in grief at what we’re losing here” and explained that while they are disscsing their “personal worlds in our music”, they do not want to “have conversations about this on social media right now”.
She ended the caption with: “There’ll be songs, of course (brace, brace), but we hope to continue to support, love and care for each other in whatever ways we can. And don’t worry, the cat is coming with me, she’s not built for the tour bus. With love, sadness and hope, Jess x”
Gusie is an actress, musician and psychotherapist and is known for appearing in the show EastEnders and the 2014 TV series The Musketeers. She is also the frontwoman and guitarist of her band GUISE. Turner and Guise were married on August 30, 2019. The two have also appeared on live streams together.
