Friday Dance Music Guide: The Week’s Best New Tracks From Kenya Grace, Claude VonStroke & More

This week in dance music: A litany of lineups and events were announced, with ADE announcing that French master Jean-Michel Jarre will open ADE 2026 with a performance at concert hall AFAS Live on Oct. 21. Presented by MOJO and Insomniac, the concert will feature a venue-scale immersive performance with stage mapping, large projections and elaborate lighting architecture.

Later this month, LP Giobbi will become the first woman in history to lead the superjam at Florida’s Okeechobee, where she’ll be joined by  by Goose‘s Rick Mitarotonda, Big Gigantic‘s Dominic Lalli, the Disco Biscuits‘ Aron Magner and other surprise guests. In September, artists including Sara Landry, The Blessed Madonna, Michael Bibi, Chris Stussy and more will play Chicago’s ARC Music Festival, which is expanding from three to four days in 2026.

And around both weekends of Coachella next month, artists including Green Velvet, Afrojack, Pawsa and David Guetta will play the private Desert Nights 2026 parties. Also happening on the Coachella ground in October will be the Head Trip, a new one time only festival from Goldenvoice that will feature Skrillex, Swedish House Mafia, Calvin Harris, Peggy Gou b2b Four Tet and more. Across the country in NYC, We Belong Here’s Brooklyn edition in June will feature Above & Beyond, Oliver Heldens and more.

Meanwhile, Ninja Tune has been acquired by Concord, with the label’s iconic catalog and publishing arm being added to the Concord operation. The nominees for the 2026 IDMAs were revealed, and we caught up with Illenium’s agent Guy Oldaker to talk about the producer’s current residency at Sphere.

And last but not least, these are the best new dance tracks of the week.

  • Kenya Grace, “Naked”

British artist Kenya Grace made history in 2023 when her track “Strangers” became the first Hot Dance/Electronic Songs No. 1 to be solely written, produced and sung by a woman. After the swirl of that success, Grace took time off to get re-grounded with herself and her music making process. The result of this introspection is “Naked,” which pairs liquid drum n bass with vulnerable lyrics about loveless hookups and their emotional aftermath.

“Naked is about the loneliness of being desired for your body but not seen for who you are,” Grace says in a statement. “It’s the quiet emptiness of lying next to someone and still feeling completely invisible.”

The song is out on Warner Records/Major Recordings. Listen to it here.

  • Claude VonStroke, “Static In The Deep End”

The lead single from Claude VonStroke’s forthcoming album Wrong Number is the pulsing and darkly sinewy “Static In The Deep End.” Music for the afters, the track finds CVS layering up crisp percussion with an insistent kick, creating a big vibe from simple elements. Coming May 22, the new album (CVS’ first since selling his Dirtybird label in 2022) is a family affair, with vocals features from his son, wife and daughter. The track also comes in tandem with the start of an 11 date tour through small capacity clubs in Japan and Europe.

“Static In The Deep End” is out on Wrong Number. Listen to it here.

  • Jaguar, “Gimme Dat”

The videogame The Urbz: Sims in the City, helped define the early aughts for a lot of people, one of them being UK producer Jaguar, who’s new track “Gimme Dat” is directly influenced by the game and its iconic club scenes. Weaving in other prevailing sounds of the Y2K era, along with Detroit electro, Jaguar delivers a slickly propulsive heater whose effectiveness is certainly not a simulation. Jaguar is on tour in the U.S. starting in June.

“Gimme Dat” is out on Utopia Worldwide. Listen to it here.

  • Azzeca & House Of Molly, “Love On Me”

Ahead of her Coachella set next month, Azzeca drops the acid-ey and wonderfully ’90s club anthem “Love On Me,” made in collaboration with London duo House Of Molly. Sharing DNA with Azzeca’s gorgeously cosmic February release “find a reason,” this new song was made, the producer says in a statement “using a big ’80s sample as the vocal, and once it was finished, it felt like it needed something cool and original. House Of Molly had a vocal they were working on, and it fit seamlessly into the track.” The pair add that they wrote their contributions to “Love On Me” in a nod to ballroom and club culture, “celebrating that seductive, fabulous world good nightlife can be. It’s camp, it’s playful, and full of innuendo!”

“Love On Me” is out on Factory 93 Records. Listen to it here.

  • Manila Killa, “I Wanna”

Longtime fav Manila Killa resurfaces his drum & bass side with his latest, “I Wanna,” a hyper, hyphy d’n’b freakout. “ok so you probably don’t know this but i dropped my first d’n’b tune back in 2022,” the producer wrote on social media of the new song. “idk why i stopped after that. every time i hear drum & bass out in the wild, the sleeper agent in me activates and i go feral so it’s time to bring it back.” To that we say that it’s good to see you again.

“I Wanna” is out on Boom Records. Listen to it here.
