Gilla Band are back their first music in three years and an expansive list of tour dates through 2027. Check out the new single “Giraffe” —which arrives alongside an inventive animated music video from Cuan Roche and Chanthila Phaophanit—as well as the full list of stops below.
In a statement about the making of “Giraffe,” Kiely said his head “can be a very scattered and sometimes lonely place. Feeling unloved and finding it difficult to articulate what I’m actually thinking. The song’s outro indirectly details a kind of confirmation that affection toward me does exist. While I appreciate it, I still find that hard to believe.”
The Dublin four-piece of Dara Kiely, Alan Duggan Borges, Daniel Fox, and Adam Faulkner have been relatively quiet since touring their last Gilla Band album, 2022’s Most Normal. In 2023, they shared the one-off single “Sports Day.”
