We Out Here has announced the first line-up for its 2026 festival. You can check it out in full below.
Next year’s edition of Gilles Peterson‘s award-winning event will take place in Wimborne St Giles, Dorset between Thursday August 20 and Sunday August 23. Tickets are on sale now here.
The festival is set to host an “eclectic mix of genre pioneers alongside the best in emerging talent spanning the realms of jazz, soul, hip-hop, electronica and more”.
Highlights on the bill include the father of Ethio-jazz Mulatu Astatke, and Anglo-French avant-pop outfit Stereolab and Brazilian composer, singer and producer Arthur Verocai with the Nu Civilisation Orchestra.
The first wave of names also includes Sampa The Great, Little Dragon frontwoman Yukimi, Mercury Prize-shortlisted jazz project Corto.alto, acclaimed New York rapper MIKE, and 90’s drum and bass pioneer Adam F.
Further down the poster are the likes of Anaiis, Jamie Woon, Kahil El ‘Zabar, Joshua Idehen, Musclecars (live), Barker, Ana Frango Eléctrico, Jazzanova (live), Keiyaa, Da Lata, Natural Information Society, Momoko Gill, Rogé, Bel Cobain and COЮ3 / SOYUZ.
Elsewhere, the Speakers Corner Quartet will deliver a special interpretation of the music of composer, producer, musician and queer icon Arthur Russell. This will celebrate his unique, genre-spanning body of work, 34 years on from his untimely passing.
