The musician’s third album, produced by Aaron Dessner, dropped last week
Gracie Abrams released two bonus tracks from her new album, Daughter From Hell. The musician revealed on Sunday night that fans could download the songs, “Out of Nowhere” and “Love Letter,” on iTunes for a limited time.
“Hey SURPRISE Daughter from Hell (Bonus Tracks) with OUT OF NOWHERE and LOVE LETTER will be available to download tonight at 6pm PT on iTunes for a limited time if you can believe it,” she wrote on social media. “I’m so moved to hear from those of you who are connecting with the record so far. Really truly your messages have made my heart grow ten sizes. Fingers crossed you enjoy these too I personally love them very much.”
Daughter From Hell is Abrams’ third studio LP and a follow-up to last year’s The Secret of Us (Deluxe). The album was produced by the National’s Aaron Dessner, who also produced Abrams’ first two albums Good Riddance and The Secret of Us. The album includes a list of notable writing credits, including Justin Vernon, otherwise known as Bon Iver, Abrams’ long-time bestie Audrey Hobert, and Abrams’ partner Paul Mescal, who cowrote “Imaginary Friend.”
Later this year, Abrams will hit the road for the Look at My Life Tour, which kicks off in Denver, Colorado, on Dec. 2. To say that the singer is excited for the live trek is an understatement. “We’re baaaaaack!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,” Abrams wrote on social media after the announcement. “I HAVE MISSED YOU AND I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!”
