Harry Styles is reportedly teaming up with director John Wilson on a new concert documentary.
The former One Direction star is deep into his Together, Together residency at Madison Square Garden, which launched in August and runs through Halloween (31.10.26).
Filmmaker John – known for his off-beat, immersive style – previously joined David Byrne on tour in 2015 to create the true crime concert documentary Temporary Color, following the musician and two escaped convicts. He has been embedded at Harry’s MSG run, capturing material throughout the residency.
According to Variety, the footage being gathered is intended for “a hybrid of live performances and a glimpse into Styles’ world.” A source told the outlet that the project aims to spotlight “authentic human stories of everyone involved in the tour – from the singer and his fans to countless others behind the scenes.”
Universal Pictures Content Group, Peanut World Pictures and Harry himself are producing the film. A theatrical release is expected to be on the table, though nothing is confirmed at this stage.
It was recently revealed that Harry is bringing his Together, Together tour back in 2027, with 25 stadium dates confirmed across North America, Europe and the UK.
The new run builds on the tour’s monster 2026 success and marks the first time the pop star will take the show into stadiums across the United States and Canada.
The 2027 leg kicks off on April 2 with two nights at State Farm Stadium in Phoenix before rolling through Dallas, Los Angeles, Toronto, Atlanta and Chicago. Harry then heads across the Atlantic for shows in Berlin, Paris, Madrid, Rome and Dublin, wrapping up the summer with a three-night homecoming at London’s Wembley Stadium.
Each city will get its own special guest, and Harry has stacked the bill with one of his most eclectic line-ups yet. Kylie Minogue, Tears For Fears, Tinashe, Caroline Polachek, Feist, LCD Soundsystem, Lainey Wilson, Baby Rose, Q Marsden, The Womack Sisters, Getdown Services and CA7RIEL and Paco Amoroso will appear on select dates.
