Harry Styles eyes historic Top 3 takeover as Madonna surges back into the Top 20

Harry Styles eyes historic Top 3 takeover as Madonna surges back into the Top 20

The “Harry Hype” has officially reached a fever pitch. According to the Official Chart: First Look, Harry Styles is on the verge of a historic achievement, with three tracks from his fourth solo album, Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally., currently occupying the entire Top 3.

A Styles Hat-Trick

Leading the charge is “American Girls,” which is currently eyeing the Number 1 spot. Should it hold its position until Friday’s final tally, it will mark Harry’s fourth UK Number 1 single. Following closely behind is the former chart-topper “Aperture” at Number 2 and the infectious “Ready, Steady, Go!” at Number 3.

This remarkable feat would mark Styles’ second chart-topper in just five weeks, following the success of “Aperture” in early February. Achieving a clean sweep of the Top 3 is a rare milestone in chart history, further solidifying Harry’s status as a dominant force in the global pop landscape.

The “Gymskin” Effect: Madonna’s Global Resurgence

While Styles dominates the summit, Madonna is proving the enduring power of a classic—and the modern influence of social media. Her 1985 smash “Into The Groove” is on track to jump a staggering 23 places to Number 17.

The resurgence is fueled by the viral internet sensation Gymskin, a persona who has adopted the track as a “theme song” for his fitness videos. This marks the first time the former Number 1 has graced the Top 20 in over 40 years, showcasing the “power of social media right before our very eyes.”

On the Climb

Elsewhere in the Top 40, several artists are making significant moves:

Zara Larsson is aiming for a return to her peak with “Midnight Sun” looking to jump to Number 20.

Bebe Rexha eyes her ninth Top 40 hit with the dance anthem “New Religion,” featuring electronic legends Faithless (30).

Ella Langley continues her ascent with “Choosin’ Texas” (31).

Myles Smith and Niall Horan’s collab “Drive Safe” looks to re-enter the Top 40 at Number 40, following the announcement of Niall’s upcoming single, “Dinner Party.”
