The musician pulls off some crazy stunts (with the help of green screen and stunt doubles) in the new clip for the Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally track

Harry Styles plays the action hero — with the help from some stunt doubles — in the new music video for “American Girls.”

Directed by James Mackel, the clip finds Styles spending a day on the set: He embarks on a cross-country motorcycle journey, casually drives a sports car underneath a stalled-out semi truck, runs through a desert landscape peppered with explosives, and completes a massive motorcycle flip against a setting sun.

Of course, a lot of this is completed with the help of green screen technology and two well-trained stunt doubles. For all the action in the “American Girls” clip, there’s a kind of charming mundanity to it as Styles drifts from one scene to the next, eats some snacks with his stunt doubles, and stays continually hydrated.

The “American Girls” clip appears on Styles’ new album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally., which was also released today. The album marks his fourth studio LP and first in four years following 2022’s Harry’s House. As with his previous albums, Styles recorded Kiss All the Time with his regular collaborators Kid Harpoon and Tyler Johnson.

Styles is set to celebrate the release of Kiss All the Time with a special concert tonight in Manchester, England. The show is being recorded and will stream on Netflix Sunday, March 8, starting at 3 p.m. ET. He’ll follow the Manchester show with an appearance on Saturday Night Live — as both host and musical guest — on March 14. And his Together, Together tour will kick off in Amsterdam on May 16.
