Hayley Williams played the entirety of her album ‘Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party’ on the opening night of her world tour – watch footage below.

The Paramore frontwoman is set to play an extensive run of shows in North America, Europe and the UK in the coming months in support of her third solo LP, which she released online in July last year.

The opening night went down at the Tabernacle in Atlanta, Georgia on Friday night (March 27), and she played every song from the new album, many of them for the first time live, as well as a cover of the Nina Simone classic ‘Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood’.

Williams was also joined by Josh Scogin, the singer and guitarist known for his work with the bands ‘68, The Chariot and Norma Jean, for a show-closing performance of ‘Parachute’.

Check out fan-captured footage from the show here:

Hayley Williams played:

‘Mirtazapine’
‘Showbiz’
‘Disappearing Man’
‘Zissou’
‘Ice In My OJ’
‘Hard’
‘Kill Me’
‘Blood Bros’
‘Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party’
‘Whim’
‘Glum’
‘Negative Self Talk’
‘True Believer’
‘Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood’
‘Brotherly Hate’
‘Love Me Different’
‘Dream Girl In Shibuya’
‘Good Ol’ Days’
‘Discovery Channel’
‘I Won’t Quit On You’
‘Parachute’ (with Josh Scogin)

The tour will now continue with a second show in Atlanta tonight (March 28), with the North American dates running until May 15 in Los Angeles. She then heads to Europe, with shows including a double header at London’s Roundhouse in June. See all of the dates here and find any remaining tickets here.

In a glowing five-star review of ‘Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party’, NME wrote: “As with almost every era of Hayley Williams’ career, this new release has come with questions about the future of Paramore. The determined lyrics on the tender ‘I Won’t Quit On You’ should be all the reassurance worried fans need, but if that’s not enough, there’s plenty in this brilliant, swaggering new chapter to be excited about.

“These songs might be about missed second chances, but Williams is certainly making the most of hers.”

It also went on to be named as the ninth best album of the year in NME’s end of year list. Last month, she also shared a 12-minute documentary about the making of the record.

Williams recently launched a new band called Power Snatch with Daniel James, and they have already dropped three new singles, as well as a cover of This Is Lorelei’s ‘Perfect Hand’.
