HUNTR/X’s ‘Golden,’ From ‘KPop Demon Hunters,’ Glows With 18th Week Atop Global Charts

HUNTR/X’s “Golden,” from Netflix’s record-breaking animated movie KPop Demon Hunters, rebounds to No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts for an 18th week each. The song became the first leader on each list for the act, whose music is voiced by EJAE, Audrey Nuna and REI AMI, in July.

“Golden” ties Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ “Die With a Smile” for the second-longest command since the Global 200 began in September 2020. Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” has ruled for 19 weeks since that December.

On Global Excl. U.S., “Golden” breaks out of a tie with “Die With a Smile” for the second-longest No. 1 run. As on the Global 200, it trails the record-holder by one week, as ROSÉ and Mars’ “APT.” dominated for 19 weeks in 2024 into this year.

Meanwhile, “All I Want for Christmas Is You” skates 3-2 on the Global 200 and 5-3 on Global Excl. U.S., ahead of other holiday hits in the top 10 of each ranking. Plus, Turkish artist BLOK3 earns his first Global Excl. U.S. top 10 as “Kusura Bakma” debuts at No. 9.

The Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts rank songs based on streaming and sales activity culled from more than 200 territories around the world, as compiled by Luminate. The Global 200 is inclusive of worldwide data and the Global Excl. U.S. chart comprises data from territories excluding the United States.

Chart ranks are based on a weighted formula incorporating official-only streams on both subscription and ad-supported tiers of audio and video music services, as well as download sales, the latter of which reflect purchases from full-service digital music retailers from around the world, with sales from direct-to-consumer (D2C) sites excluded from the charts’ calculations.

“Golden” tops the Global 200, up one spot, with 94.5 million streams (down 2% week-over-week) and 10,000 sold (up 5%) worldwide in the week ending Dec. 4.

“All I Want for Christmas Is You” rises 3-2 on the Global 200 and Taylor Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia” falls to No. 3 after three weeks at No. 1 beginning in October.

Five more carols decorate the Global 200’s top 10: Wham!’s “Last Christmas” (6-4), Brenda Lee’s “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” (10-5), Bobby Helms’ “Jingle Bell Rock” (11-6), Ariana Grande’s “Santa Tell Me” (15-7) and Kelly Clarkson’s “Underneath the Tree” (18-10). (The songs have hit highs of Nos. 2, 2, 4, 5 and 6, respectively.)

“Golden” leads Global Excl. U.S., rising one rank, with 74.2 million streams (essentially no change from a week earlier) and 6,000 sold (up 8%) beyond the U.S.

“The Fate of Ophelia” drops 2-3 on Global Excl. U.S. after three weeks at No. 1 starting in October and “All I Want for Christmas Is You” climbs 5-3 after leading for 14 weeks since the 2020 holiday season.

Also adding cheer to the Global Excl. U.S. top 10, “Last Christmas” lifts 7-4, “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” twirls 28-8 and “Santa Tell Me” rides 31-10. (They’ve reached respective bests of Nos. 2, 3 and 4.)

Plus, BLOK3 notches his first Global Excl. U.S. top 10 as “Kusura Bakma” enters the chart at No. 9, led by 31.1 million streams outside the U.S. The track concurrently debuts at No. 1 on the Turkey Songs chart, where it’s the Kocaeli, Turkey, native’s fourth leader.

The Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts (dated Dec. 13, 2025) will update on Billboard.com tomorrow, Dec. 9. For both charts, the top 100 titles are available to all readers on Billboard.com, while the complete 200-title rankings are visible on Billboard Pro, Billboard’s subscription-based service. For all chart news, you can follow @billboard and @billboardcharts on both X, formerly known as Twitter, and Instagram.

Luminate, the independent data provider to the Billboard charts, completes a thorough review of all data submissions used in compiling the weekly chart rankings. Luminate reviews and authenticates data. In partnership with Billboard, data deemed suspicious or unverifiable is removed, using established criteria, before final chart calculations are made and published.
