Is ‘Wicked: For Good’ Available to Rent? Here’s How to Bring the Magic of Oz to Your TV Screens

All products and services featured are independently chosen by editors. However, Billboard may receive a commission on orders placed through its retail links, and the retailer may receive certain auditable data for accounting purposes.

After a long wait, you can finally watch Wicked: For Good in the comfort of your own home.

The magic of Oz can now be yours again and again because prospective watchers can buy or rent the film from streaming services like Amazon and Apple TV. The second half of the magic-filled flick dropped on these streaming services on Dec. 30. If you’d like to watch the film via Amazon Prime Video, you can buy it for good (pun intended) for $29.99, or rent it for $19.99. If you’d like to marathon both films, Prime Video is currently running a deal on a bundle of both Wicked and Wicked: For Good for $39.99, down from $44.98.

While you can watch a selection of titles and Pay-Per-View events from the Prime Video catalog without needing an Amazon Prime or Prime Video membership, the subscription is one we’d highly recommend our readers take part in. Prime Video, which is a part of an Amazon Prime membership, will run you $14.99/month or $139/year. You can try out the service for free for 30 days if you aren’t sure you’ll like it.

Unfortunately, you can’t stream the film on any other services at the moment so you’ll have to wait to stream with services you might already have. While this might be a bummer, the film is well worth the wait. If you aren’t a fan of renting or buying the film, there’s always a physical Blu-Ray digital 4K Ultra HD version that you can buy now on Amazon for $29.95, down from $34.98.

The physical copy can serve as a collector’s item and features gorgeous artwork on the front of leads Ariana Grande, who plays Glinda, and Cynthia Erivo, who plays Elphaba. The regular DVD version is currently $19.95, while the standard Blu-Ray version is $24.95. Whichever one you choose, you’ll be able to get your hands on the physical copy now.

While it hasn’t been announced just yet, it’s likely the film will also be available to stream on Peacock starting in March based on the release of the film’s first part (March 21, 2025).

Following the box office success that was Wicked, Wicked: For Good hit theaters Nov. 21, 2025, just one day shy of the one-year anniversary of the film’s first half. The sequel was first announced on X back in April 2022 from director Jon M. Chu’s “OzPhone.” The filmmaker wrote, “With more space, we can tell the story of Wicked as it was meant to be told while bringing even more depth and surprise to the journeys of these beloved characters.”
