Jack Savoretti and Katherine Jenkins shine at London’s Emerald Theatre for BRITs Week 26 for War Child

BRITs Week 26, delivered by DHL for War Child, continued last night with Jack Savoretti and Katherine Jenkins OBE taking over London’s Emerald Theatre, right on the embankment beneath the historic Waterloo Bridge. The star-studded performance balanced Savoretti’s indie/folk with Jenkins’ souring theatrical vocals.

The audience was kept captivated from start and finish, as Jenkins’ kicked off her love themed set, with powerful classic aria’s including George Bizet’s Habanera and operatic takes on fan favourites, including HUNTR/X Golden.

Jack Savoretti then followed with his signature guitar-led songs, including crowd favourites We’ll Always Be The Way We Were, Soldier’s Eyes, and Candlelight. The pair then graced the stage together, closing the memorable night with a heartfelt duet of What the World Needs Now is Love.

Support on the night came from Australian singer-songwriter Gabriella Cilmi.

BRITs Week 26, delivered by DHL for War Child gives fans the unforgettable opportunity to see intimate, one-off performances from some of the biggest and most exciting names in music at some of the UK’s best venues.

BRITs Week is taking place around The BRIT Awards 2026 with Mastercard on Saturday, 28th February in Manchester. With the awards leaving the capital for the first time in its nearly 50-year history, BRITs Week 26 is expanding into a new era with artists playing in Newcastle, London, Edinburgh, Nottingham, Brighton and Manchester, giving more fans across the country the chance to see their favourite artists in the lead-up to the UK’s biggest night in music.

All proceeds from the shows go towards War Child’s essential work providing aid, education, specialist mental health support, and more while standing up for the rights of children whose lives have been devastatingly affected by war. Right now, it’s the deadliest time in history to be a child. 1 in 5 children globally (over 520 million) are currently affected by war. But there is hope. With support from music fans, War Child can help children put the pieces back together. By joining the charity for the intimate, one-off performances of some of their favourite artists, fans will be directly contributing to help War Child rebuild children’s lives.

The series continues tonight, February 26th, as musicians take over stages across Manchester, with performances from Rossi. at YES and Olivia Dean at the Albert Hall.
