Jacques Greene Announces New Album JG

Jacques Greene is putting out his third solo album, JG, on October 16. Ahead of the fall release, the Montreal producer’s LuckyMe imprint has also dropped the lead single, “Presence.” Scroll down to listen to the bass-heavy two-step track.

The album’s feature selections—including DJ Boring, umru, and SAM-E—were all inspired by the organic relationships in Greene’s network. “This record moves away from concepts and follows an intuition for places where I wanted to be and where I would be wanted,” they said in a press statement. “The track with Noah [SEES0000] is here because I love it, but also because we walked from his studio to get Sonoran tacos and talked about life.”

Greene’s new album follows 2019’s Dawn Chorus. In 2025, he collaborated with Nosaj Thing on a self-titled album under the alias Verses GT.
