Singer-songwriter returns to road in support of acclaimed album with trek of southern half of U.S.
Jessica Pratt will return to the road in 2025 with a spring U.S. tour in support of her latest LP Here in the Pitch, one of Rolling Stone’s Best Albums of 2024, So Far.
After spending all of November on a European trek, the singer-songwriter begins the U.S. tour on March 28 with a set at Knoxville’s Big Ears Festival. From there, Pratt has scheduled a handful of dates focusing on the southern half of the country, including stops in New Orleans, Houston, Austin, and Dallas.
Pratt released Here in the Pitch, her first album since 2019’s Quiet Signs, in May. Soon after, the singer staged her first-ever late-night appearance and popped up on an A$AP Rocky single.
“The Los Angeles folkie more than makes up for lost time on the excellent Here in the Pitch, a sweeping, nine-track odyssey that culminates with the utterly beautiful ‘The Last Year,’” Rolling Stone wrote of the album.
“The album was heavily influenced by the dark underbelly of the Sixties and Seventies, from Spirit to Captain Beefheart, a reclamation process Pratt calls, ‘marching through the psychic waves of all of the history and layers of humanity that have come before you.’”
