Jesy Nelson and Zion Foster have reportedly ended their relationship.
The Little Mix star and the rapper are said to have called off their engagement, eight months after welcoming twin daughters Ocean and Story.
The news comes only weeks after Jesy revealed that the twins had been diagnosed with a severe neuromuscular condition, Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type One.
A source told The Sun on Sunday, “She and Zion remain friends and are fully focused on their daughters. They are fully united in co-parenting. Their priority continues to be the well-being of their daughters.”
Fans had also noticed that Jesy was not wearing her engagement ring during an appearance on ITV’s This Morning earlier this month, when she opened up about her daughters’ diagnosis.
Just days before the split was reported, Zion shared a post on Instagram in which he described the Black Magic hitmaker as a “superwoman”.
“A poem I wrote for Ocean & Story. We are all one,” he wrote. “Jesy addressing a huge flaw in our healthcare system is the definition of a superwoman.”
The musician continued, “Reality is, it’s indefensible and needs to be changed, simple. Test kids at birth for SMA in the UK now that there are revolutionary treatments available.”
Zion was referring to Jesy’s recent Instagram post, in which she highlighted the importance of screening babies for SMA, a condition that often begins in infancy and can cause severe muscle weakness and breathing and swallowing difficulties, with a shortened life expectancy if left untreated.
Jesy and Zion started dating in 2022 and announced their engagement in September last year.
