LP will feature new collaborations and previously released songs with Dolly Parton, Ariana Grande and Megan Thee Stallion, and more
Over the past few years, Jimmy Fallon has offered up a new Christmas song as an annual holiday treat. Now he’s set to release a full album, Holiday Seasoning, out Nov. 1 via Republic Records.
The record will comprise all original tunes and feature an array of collaborations, though it’s unclear who exactly will be joining The Tonight Show host just yet. The full track list isn’t out yet and will be revealed in the coming weeks.
Holiday Seasoning will, however, feature Fallon’s three previously-released holiday singles: 2021’s “It Was a… (Masked Christmas),” featuring Ariana Grande and Megan Thee Stallion; 2022’s “Almost Too Early for Christmas” with Dolly Parton; and last year’s “Wrap Me Up” with Meghan Trainor. (It’s does not appear that 2009’s “Drunk on Christmas” with Big & Rich’s John Rich has made the cut.)
Holiday Seasoning is available to pre-order now and will get a couple special physical releases. One CD version will come with a signed insert; the standard LP will be pressed on peppermint swirl vinyl; and a deluxe LP package will come with blizzard-colored vinyl, a sticker sheet, a holiday table topper, and a pop-up vinyl gatefold.
Fallon has dabbled in music throughout his career and Holiday Seasoning will mark his third full-length album. He released his first record, The Bathroom Wall — a mix of original songs and stand-up routines — in 2002, then dropped Blow Your Pants Off in 2012. The latter featured appearances from Bruce Springsteen, Justin Timberlake, Paul McCartney, Eddie Vedder, Dave Matthews, and more.
