Joan Jett And The Blackhearts will play their first UK headline tour in 16 years later this summer – see all the dates and ticket info below.
The Godmother of Punk has not played a full string of UK shows with her band since 2010, but that will change in July when they headline five big shows around the country, with support from the political UK punk duo The Meffs.
The dates kick off in Glasgow’s O2 Academy on July 2, before taking in Manchester, Leeds and Wolverhampton, before rounding off at London’s brand new state-of-the-art venue British Airways ARC on July 8.
Tickets for all of the shows go on sale at 10am on Friday (April 24) and you will be able to get yours here.
Jett has said: “We can’t wait to be back on stage in the UK this summer! I wrote and recorded ‘Bad Reputation’, my first solo LP in London. It’s been too long since we’ve been in the UK and we’re excited to see everyone!”

Jett has also been announced as an opening act for My Chemical Romance’s show at Wembley Stadium on July 10, and you can find any remaining tickets for that show here.
Elsewhere, she was part of a benefit concert for victims of the Los Angeles wildfires last year, alongside the surviving members of Nirvana, while she also joined Billy Idol on his recent North American tour and appeared on his album ’Dream Into It’.
Jett spoke to NME in 2022 about her distrust of the music industry. “I’ve distrusted from the beginning, which is not really who I am – I’m naïve and I trust too easily… [But] you see, through history, this business – any part of the entertainment industry is tough and, you know, can chew people up and spit ‘em out,” she said. “And there’s not a lot of sympathy for people because life is tough. Everybody is having a tough time. Look at the people in Ukraine. We’re talking about this? We’re lucky we can even talk about it.”
