Justin Moore steps away from tour to focus on health

Justin Moore is prioritising his health over his tour.

On Monday 8 June, the country singer announced he would be taking time away from the road in an Instagram post.

“I’ve made the decision to take some time to focus on my health,” he began.

“As a result, I’ll be stepping away from touring for a short period and will be unable to perform some upcoming shows.

“This is the right decision for me and my family, and I appreciate everyone’s understanding and support.”

The If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away singer concluded, “I look forward to getting back out there later this summer and doing what I love most.”

According to his website, Moore has performances scheduled through to the end of October.

Speaking with People magazine after the release of the title track for his latest album, Moore opened up about leaving Nashville and moving back home to Arkansas with his wife and four kids.

“I would not still be doing this for a living if I didn’t live here,” the Small Town USA singer said at the time. “I just wasn’t happy. I don’t think you can perform your best at your craft unless you’re happy. It was the right move for us, and it’s been wonderful.”

Staying in Nashville, he said, was never his intention.

“I always just looked at it like a necessary part of my journey while I was trying to achieve my dreams,” he shared.

Moore released his latest album, This Is My Dirt, in October 2024.
