The worlds of cinema and global pop are set to collide at the Royal Festival Hall next month. BAFTA has officially confirmed that the vocal powerhouses behind Netflix’s record-breaking animated smash, KPop Demon Hunters, will take the stage for the 2026 EE BAFTA Film Awards on Sunday, 22nd February.

A Global First in London

In what marks their first-ever live performance together outside of the United States, EJAE (Rumi), Audrey Nuna (Mira), and Rei Ami (Zoey)—collectively known as the voices of the fictional group HUNTR/X—will perform the global anthem “Golden.” Since the film’s release in June 2025, it has become Netflix’s most popular title of all time, amassing over 500 million streams. However, it is the soundtrack that has truly rewritten the record books. “Golden” recently made history as the first female K-Pop song to reach #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, maintaining the top spot for eight consecutive weeks.

Breaking Records and Barriers

The performance comes on the heels of a historic Grammy win, where “Golden” became the first K-Pop track to ever secure a Grammy Award, winning for Best Song Written for Visual Media. To date, the song is approaching a staggering 4 billion streams.

“Performing at the EE BAFTA Film Awards is a golden moment that our younger selves could never have imagined!” the trio said in a joint statement. “We’re so proud to represent the film’s positive message to fans around the globe.”

An Unmissable Night of Entertainment

Hosted by the multi-award-winning Alan Cumming, the ceremony promises to be a standout event in the 2026 awards calendar. Emma Baehr, BAFTA’s Executive Director of Awards & Content, noted: “We want to create an unmissable night of entertainment, and we can’t wait to roll out the red carpet for such an iconic trio.”

The 2026 EE BAFTA Film Awards will be broadcast “as-live” on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Sunday, 22nd February, with US audiences able to tune in via E!.
