Karol G returned to the MTV Video Music Awards for the second year running on Wednesday night (September 11), taking the stage at Long Island’s UBS Arena to perform her latest single “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido.” She opened the song on an elevated platform before walking into the crowd and onto a colorful set simulating a salsa club. At one point, Karol G sang to audience members like Camila Cabello and Taylor Swift, both of whom got up from their seats and danced along. Watch it all go down below.
Karol G will compete for Best Latin at tonight’s award show; her pop ballad “Mi Ex Tenía Razón” will battle songs by Anitta, Bad Bunny, Rauw Alejandro, and more for the accolade.
At last year’s VMAs, Karol G was joined by over a dozen dancers decked in neon pink for a lively version of “Oki Doki” and “Tá OK (Remix).”
