KATSEYE, HUNTR/X, Madonna & Bruce Springsteen Among Record Store Day 2026 Special Releases

Record Store Day has finally unveiled its 2026 lineup of special releases.

On Wednesday (Feb. 4), RSD revealed a sprawling list of over 350 titles, including selections from David Bowie, Charli xcx, Ozzy Osbourne, Pink Floyd, Billy Strings, The Rolling Stones, Fall Out Boy, Elton John and many more.

Most of these releases are vinyl LPs, many with different colored and stylized variants. As usual, most of this year’s RSD releases will be in limited supply. Notably, Joni Mitchell’s 1972 For the Roses LP will be released with its original cover (roses placed next to a horse’s behind), which David Geffen vetoed over 50 years ago.

Announced last week, Bruno Mars will serve as the 2026 Record Store Day ambassador. The Hawaii-born powerhouse will celebrate his coveted position with the release of The Collaborations, a compilation set to include his biggest team-ups with other artists, like Mark Ronson (“Uptown Funk”), Lady Gaga (“Die with a Smile”) and ROSÉ (“APT.”).

Speaking of ROSÉ, K-pop will be represented this year — just not in the form of BLACKPINK. HUNTR/X (voiced by EJAE, Rei Ami and Audrey Nuna), the fictional, Billboard Hot 100-topping girl group behind “Golden” from Netflix’s Kpop Demon Hunters, will release both a HUNTR/X Edition and Saja Boys Edition of the film’s soundtrack, complete with new cover art and exclusive goodies like a poster, sticker sheet and snapshot cards. Keeping in line with the girl group theme, KATSEYE will share a special vinyl featuring acapella and live versions of their hits “Touch” and “Gabriela.”

Bruce Springsteen, who recently hit No. 1 on Digital Song Sales with the searing protest anthem “Streets of Minneapolis,” will release a three-hour, 5xLP live set, which was recorded during his set at Asbury Park’s 2024 Sea.Hear.Now Festival. Another a live release will come from Olivia Dean, who won the best new artist Grammy at Sunday night’s telecast (Feb. 2). The British breakout will share her viral BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge performance on vinyl, featuring a soulful rendition of her Hot 100 No. 2 hit “Man I Need,” as well as a cover of Ravyn Lenae’s Hot 100 top 5 hit “Love Me Not” (No. 5).

Though Brandi Carlile and Elton John lost their joint best traditional pop vocal album Grammy nomination to Laufey’s Bewitched on Sunday night, both acclaimed songwriters have their own special RSD releases planned for this year. Carlile, who served as Record Store Day ambassador in 2020, will share a live album recorded at her neighborhood record store; John will release a self-curated compilation of dance remixes of his own songs, printed on glow-in-the-dark vinyl.

Other titles expected to be major draws are Robert Plant’s Saving Grace: All that Glitters with Suzi Dian (a four-song continuation of his 2025 Saving Grace LP), Ziggy Marley’s Brightside (his first new album in eight years), Jeff Buckley’s Live À L’Olympia (recorded during his 1995 European tour) and Neil Young & The Chrome Hearts’ The Live Album. Madonna will also release a double LP featuring the London stop of her 2006 Confessions Tour.

This year’s Record Store Day release lineup also features two noteworthy family connections. Violet Grohl, daughter of Foo Fighters founder and 2015 RSD ambassador Dave Grohl, will share a 7″ single paying tribute to David Lynch and featuring a new original song. Sean Lennon, son of Yoko Ono and John Lennon and an artist in his own right, will reimagine his father’s 1970 “Love” Ballad in nine different ways across a 3 LP set titled Love Meditation Mixes.

Finally, Wicked: One Wonderful Night (Live) — the accompanying soundtrack album for the Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo-led television event — will be available on a double LP on April 18.
