Katy Perry ‘Lifetimes’ concert film to screen across 150 cinemas in the UK after tour raised over £80k for Music Venue Trust

Katy Perry is bringing her ‘Lifetimes’ concert film to screen across 150 cinemas in the UK, following the tour raising over £80k for the Music Venue Trust.

Dubbed the Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour – Live from Paris, the concert film will be launching in cinemas and on IMAX globally across 70 countries on September 2, and showing in the UK & Ireland, Italy, Brazil, Mexico, Germany, France, Australia and more.

For the UK alone, over 150 cinemas will be showing it for a a limited time only, and tickets will be on sale from next Thursday (July 30). Visit here for tickets.

The footage was filmed two sold-out nights in Paris last November as Perry embarked on her ‘Lifetimes Tour’, and captured with a 60-camera set-up. Across the set, Perry broke out a stacked setlist featuring fan-favourites like ‘Teenage Dream’, ‘California Gurls’, ‘Dark Horse’, ‘Roar’, ‘Firework’ and ‘The One That Got Away’.

“Katy Perry’s ‘Lifetimes Tour’ was larger than life and this film captures every ounce of the concert— reimagined to feel as if you’re at a tour stop,” said Kymberli Frueh, EVP of Content Acquisitions and Programming, Trafalgar Releasing. “This cinema release gives new and returning KatyCats—a chance to experience the moment, the way it was meant to be seen—with other fans, on the biggest screen possible.”

The ‘Lifetimes Tour’ sold over one million tickets across 91 shows in 23 countries, and ran for just under eight months. It kicked off in Mexico City on April 23, included six historic performances in China, and wrapped up in Abu Dhabi on December 7.

Along the way, the tour also supported charitable causes, with $264,814 (£198,124) donated to Perry’s own Firework Foundation in the US – which works to give children from underprivileged areas access to arts – and £81,918 ($109,128) donated to Music Venue Trust in the UK, which supports grassroots venues and emerging talent.

The 132-minute feature film is directed by Paul Dugdale, produced by 10 Lives Studios’ Daniel E. Catullo III, and features exclusive behind-the-scenes bonus content as well as footage of the live show.

Support for the MVT came at a vital time, as it was recently confirmed that 30 grassroots venues were lost forever between July 2024 and July 2025, and last year alone saw more than half of those remaining making no profit and over 6,000 jobs lost.

For years now, there has been pressure for the UK’s smaller venues and rising artists to receive a contribution from arena and stadium gigs to ensure their survival. The model – already in use in several countries across Europe similar to the one seen in the Premier League of football – was given the government’s backing back in 2024, but many are not still paying into the system.
