Kesha forced to cancel concert amid travel delays

Kesha has been forced to cancel an upcoming concert due to travel delays.

The Tik Tok hitmaker announced on Instagram Stories on Tuesday that her sold-out T**s Out Tour show, set to take place at the Uber Eats Music Hall in Berlin, Germany that night, had to be rescheduled.

In a statement, Kesha noted that she was “devastated” by the news.

“To my Berlin animals, me and my crews (sic) flights have been canceled from Australia to Europe. I sat at the airport praying,” she wrote. “There is just no way we will now make it there in time – I am devastated. I promise to make I up to you all when I can get back there. I love you all so much and please stay safe.”

Kesha performed a string of shows across Australia and New Zealand last month.

The Joyride singer didn’t detail the exact reason for the travel delays, though airline officials have been cancelling and diverting flights in the Middle East after the U.S. and Israel launched strikes against Iran last weekend.

Flights in international airport hubs such as Dubai and Doha have been suspended.

Kesha is next set to perform a gig as part of The T**s Out Tour at the Zénith Paris stadium in France on 6 March.

Earlier on Tuesday, the singer-songwriter also hit out at U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration for using her song Blow as the soundtrack for a TikTok video which shows a jet launching a missile and destroying what appears to be an enemy ship.

“Trying to make light of war is disgusting and inhumane. I absolutely do not approve of my music being used to promote violence of any kind,” she insisted. “Love always trumps hate. Please love yourself and each other in times like this. This show of blatant disregard for human life and quite frankly this attack on all of our nervous systems is the opposite of what I stand for.”
