Kesha is set to headline the Australian Open’s musical line-up in January.
The US pop star has been announced as the major musical draw at the first Grand Slam tennis tournament of 2025.
This unique festival – a first of its kind worldwide – promises three days of music towards the end of the sporting competition, featuring a lineup of international musicians that also includes Benson Boone, Kaytranada and Armand Van Helden.
“AO LIVE is an evolution of the AO’s music offering and will see live entertainment across the entire precinct throughout the 21 days of January,” said Australian Open tournament director Craig Tiley. “From performances in Garden Square to DJs on Grand Slam Oval, the event caters to a variety of musical tastes and is included with any Ground Pass ticket.”
The final three days of entertainment at Melbourne’s John Cain Arena kicks off on Thursday 23 January, with Kesha booked to perform on Sunday 25 January – the same day as the Women’s Final is due to be played, and the day before the Men’s Final.
Kesha, who had one of the biggest songs of the century so far with her debut single TikTok, has enjoyed viral success in recent months with her current single Joyride.
The Australian Open runs from 6-26 January 2025.
