Kiefer Sutherland axes US tour over ‘very low ticket sales’

Kiefer Sutherland has axed the US leg of his Love Will Bring You Home Tour because of “very low ticket sales”.

The 59-year-old actor-and-musician does not think it is fair to fans to perform in “half-empty houses” on the tour, in support of his fourth studio album, Grey.

On Friday (15.05.26), Kiefer penned on Instagram: “With great disappointment, I am going to have to cancel the US leg of my tour due to very low ticket sales.

“I don’t think it’s fair to the people who have bought tickets, or the venues, to play to half-empty houses.”

The setback will not stop Kiefer from performing across North America in the future.

He continued: “I look forward to touring the United States again at a more suitable time.”

The Stand By Me cast member told fans that “refunds will be available from point of purchase”.

Kiefer finished the European portion of the Love Will Bring You Home Tour in Ittre, Belgium, on May 10.

The Lost Boys actor is not the only singer to have been forced to cancel an upcoming US tour due to poor ticket sales.

Chart-topping girl group, The Pussycat Dolls – Nicole Scherzinger, 47, and 44-year-olds Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt – made the “heartbreaking decision” to make changes for their PCD FOREVER Tour, after taking an “honest look at the North American run”.

In a statement posted on Instagram, The Pussycat Dolls said: “We want to share an important update with you.

“When we announced the PCD FOREVER Tour, we hoped to bring the show to fans across the world. After taking an honest look at the North American run, we’ve made the difficult and heartbreaking decision to cancel all but one of the North America dates.

“@officiallyoutloud at WeHo Pride in Los Angeles is still happening on June 6, 2026, and we could not think of a more meaningful place to celebrate with our fans.

“The LGBTQ+ community has shown us so much love and support throughout our career, and we’re honoured to be part of a weekend rooted in joy, pride, music, and chosen family. (sic)”

Meanwhile, The Pussycat Dolls haven’t made any changes to their European tour dates.

The group also thanked their fans for their “love, patience, and support”.

Their statement continued: “Our UK and European dates are still moving forward as planned, and the response has been incredible, with several shows already sold out.

“We are putting everything into making this show a true celebration of the music and the memories, for the fans who have been with us from the beginning and those discovering us for the first time.

“We’re working hard to create the kind of show we’ve always dreamed of bringing to you. We cannot wait to bring this reunion to Europe and make these nights unforgettable.”

The group – one of the best-selling girl bands of all time – noted to US fans that “refunds will be issued automatically” for tickets bought through Ticketmaster or AXS in Nashville.

The Pussycat Dolls added: “If you purchased from a third-party reseller (StubHub, SeatGeek, VividSeats), etc., please reach out to your point of purchase.

“Thank you for your love, patience, and support. (sic)”
