Kings Of Leon announce nostalgic new album ‘O My Beloved’ with tender single ‘My Whole World’

Kings Of Leon have announced nostalgic new album ‘O My Beloved’ and dropped the tender single ‘My Whole World’. Check it out below along with details of an intimate homecoming show in Nashville.

Set for release on November 6 via Love Tap Records, the record marks the 10th album from the Tennessee rock giants, and their first since 2024’s ‘Can We Please Have Fun’. Visit here to pre-order.

Set to be their most intimate and unguarded record yet, the album’s 13-songs centre around reminiscence and nostalgia, with frontman Caleb Followill and co. looking back at the people, experiences and journey that made them into who they are today.

The first taster of the album, heartfelt lead single ‘My Whole World’, is out now and showcases those same themes of gratitude, family and an appreciation for the life that underpin the whole album.

Speaking about how the album is like a love letter to their family and fans who have helped shape their journey so far, Caleb Followill shared: “We have already surpassed anything we ever imagined we could do, and we’ve built something that is so special.”

“I thought, wouldn’t it be beautiful to make an album that is looking back on all of the things that we’ve done and appreciating how we got here,” he added. “In the songs, there’s our families, stories from our childhood, things that maybe didn’t seem that significant at the time, but the way they find their way into these songs kind of lets me realise how impactful they really were in my life.”

The ‘O My Beloved’ tracklist is:

‘Intro’
‘My Whole World’
‘Cold Blue Dawn’
‘The Hand’
‘Rose’
‘Make It Count’
‘KOYSAR’
‘Feel The Love’
‘Blue Jeans and Diamonds’
‘Warm Company’
‘Forever Endeavor’
‘Pretty Thing’
‘Get You Down’

To celebrate the announcement of ‘O My Beloved’, Kings of Leon will perform an intimate, one-off show tonight (Thursday September 10) at Basement East in Nashville.

The gig is a stark contrast to the huge headline shows the band are now used to, and will see them revisit the types of venues they would play in their formative years, back when they would perform in small clubs together as teenagers.

Tickets are only available on the door tonight, and will be limited to two per person.

The announcement of the new album comes following Kings Of Leon wrapping up a huge 2026 UK tour earlier this summer, where they were joined by The Snuts, The Lathums and The Royston Club.

They have also headlined Mad Cool 2026 in Madrid alongside the likes of Foo Fighters, Florence + The Machine and Pulp, and also kicked off the inaugural State Fayre festival with a hits-packed headline set.

‘Can We Please Have Fun’ was given a three-star review from NME when it dropped in 2024, and praised as “easily KOL’s most promising, liberated record for over a decade”, but “still surprisingly restrained in places”.

Speaking to NME around the album’s release, the band said they had rediscovered their sense of excitement while making the record. “It was the most enjoyable record I’ve ever been a part of,” Caleb said at the time, with drummer Nathan Followill adding: “It’s like we allowed ourselves to be musically vulnerable.”
