Back in October, it was announced that The Cure and Twenty One Pilots would be headlining the Transylvanian festival, held at Bánffy Castle between July 16 and 19.

Now, the full line-up has been unveiled, with over 200 artists spanning alternative, electronic and pop.

Among those are the aforementioned acts – with Wet Leg’s performance marking their first in Romania – as well as Chase & Status and Nothing But Thieves.

Yung Lean and Bladee also join the bill, alongside Sleaford Mods, Maverick Sabre, Eliza Rose, SG Lewis, Kid Kapichi and Just Mustard.

Keanu Reeves will also be making an appearance on bass for Dogstar, while the festival will also host reggae and dub acts Dub Pistols and Congo Natty featuring Blackout JA, and amapiano DJs Skyla Tylaa and Rosey Gold, and TruThoughts producer Quantic.

Tudor Costinaș, Head of Communications at Electric Castle, said: “We are so excited to finally share the full line-up for Electric Castle 2026. Every year we try to build a line-up that feels genuinely wide-ranging, bringing together huge global names alongside artists people might be discovering for the first time, and we feel this is a fantastic example of just that.

“Electric Castle is always filled with interesting twists and turns, fun surprises and good times together,” Costinaș added. “We can’t wait to meet everyone back at the castle again for our 12th edition this summer.”

Kneecap’s set will follow the release of their new album ‘FENIAN’, which is out via Heavenly Recordings on April 24.

Last September, Kneecap played a huge headline show at Wembley Arena, which was given a glowing five-star review from NME. “You don’t pull off a gig like that on controversy alone,” it read. “You need bangers and you need a culture to fill this room. Kneecap have all that, and they’re a fucking good laugh.

“There’s no call for violence, there’s nothing that should land someone in front of a judge, just solidarity and a rave against the dying of the light.”

As for Teddy Swims, his 2025 album ‘I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 2)’ was given a four-star review by NME, which read: “The swiftly released follow-up staves off a bad case of sequelitis because it successfully deepens Swims’ story.

Meanwhile, Wet Leg shared their sophomore album ‘Moisturizer’ last July, which was praised by NME as seeing them “return smarter, sexier and altogether stronger” than ever. That record went on to be nominated for three awards at the Grammys and, since then, the band joined the huge line-up for War Child’s ‘Help(2)’ album.
