Jonathan Davis has tied the knot.
The Korn frontman and his new wife Brittany Parisi celebrated their union with a wedding inspired by the place Davis proposed.
The nu-metal singer-songwriter and the jewellery designer exchanged vows at the Neighbourhood Church of Palos Verdes in California.
“Our wedding was a perfect fairy tale,” they told People magazine of their immersive wedding experience influenced by Sandro Botticelli’s The Birth of Venus. “We will never forget it.”
The couple created the themed nuptials to make their 80 guests feel as though they were transported to Florence, Italy, which is where the rocker popped the question in front of the painting while on tour in June last year.
Botticelli’s famous work depicts the Roman goddess of love arriving at the shore of Cyprus atop a giant scallop shell.
Davis later posted a series of wedding photos to his Instagram, captioned, “Here is to the rest of our lives. I’m so lucky to have you.”
Parisi also posted photos on a new Instagram page under the name of MrsBrittanyDavis.
“Hello? This is Mrs Davis,” she wrote. “I just wanted you to know I married the most incredible man I’ve ever met in my entire life, who happened to also be my best friend, and we are now going to live happily ever after!”
