L7, the ’90s garage-rock band from Los Angeles, are closing out their reunion era after getting back together in 2014. The Last Hurrah Tour will bring them across the United States and Canada this fall, in what they’re referring to as “the first leg of their farewell world tour.” Find their complete list of upcoming concerts below.
Reflecting on their tour plans, singer-guitarist Donita Sparks wrote, “When L7 decided to release a documentary in 2015, we thought maybe we would take one last victory lap around the sun by playing some shows. Instead, that lap turned into eleven more years of touring, sweat, new music, and reconnecting with the fans who made this all possible in the first place. Looking out into the crowd seeing longtime supporters rocking out next to a new generation of L7 fans has been the most powerful and humbling part of this chapter. We are deeply grateful and ready to give our audiences one last, loud, fun, and hopefully unforgettable night of rock & roll.”
Several years into reuniting, L7 wrote and released 2019’s Scatter the Rats, their first new album in 20 years. As Sparks mentioned, the band also went on to release L7: Pretend We’re Dead, a documentary film directed by Sarah Price, that premiered in 2016.
