Last year, it was reported that Lady Gaga will make a cameo in The Devil Wears Prada 2, the long-anticipated sequel to the 2006 film starring Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway. As it turns out, that wasn’t her sole contribution to the movie. A new trailer features an original song by Gaga and Doechii titled “Runway,” which is also the name of the fictional fashion magazine run by Streep’s Miranda Priestly. Check it out below.
Several of Doechii’s bars on “Runway” make it into the trailer, including “Serve a little sass with a little side of ass” and “Do a little twirl, let ’em know that I’m that girl.” Lady Gaga sings the house pop track’s hook, which goes “You were born for the runway.”
The Devil Wears Prada 2 hits theaters on May 1. Lady Gaga and Doechii both went home winners at the 2026 Grammys; Best Pop Vocal Album went to Gaga’s Mayhem, and Doechii nabbed Best Music Video for her single “Anxiety.” Lady Gaga’s last big-screen role was in the musical Joker: Folie à Deux, for which she also recorded the companion album Harlequin.
