LeAnn Rimes has been forced to cancel two concert dates on her 30 Years of Blue Tour in order to recover from what she described as a “severe illness”.
While Rimes has already rescheduled the Washington concerts to 31 May and 2 June, she acknowledged that some fans will be disappointed.
“I am unable to travel and perform this week,” she wrote on her Instagram Story on Wednesday.
“I’m so sorry to share that the upcoming shows in Spokane and Seattle will be rescheduled. Also, good news as we will be seeing you very soon!
“I am truly heartbroken to have to reschedule and I am so very grateful for your kindness, and continued support as I recover,” the singer added. “I look forward to being back on stage and seeing you very soon.”
The Can’t Fight the Moonlight singer has reportedly been stuck in bed while battling her sickness, sharing a photo of herself under the covers while surrounded by three boxes of tissues.
“I don’t know exactly what I have, but it’s brutal!” she wrote. “Haven’t left the bed.”
Rimes is celebrating a career milestone with the 30 Years of Blue tour, marking three decades since the release of her breakout hit, Blue, when she was just 13.
