Back in April 2024, the Are You Gonna Go My Way hitmaker went viral after he posted a video of himself lifting weights while wearing leather trousers via TikTok.
Reflecting on the response in an interview for the summer 2026 issue of Men’s Health, Lenny explained that it makes sense for him to train in leather or jeans.
“I perform onstage in leather, denim, whatever, so those are the pants I wear to train,” he said, revealing he can fit into 28-inch pants. “It also means I can fit in a workout anytime, anywhere.”
The rocker went on to emphasise that he maintains his muscles by following a “mostly vegan” diet and fitness regimen.
“All this is natural: no peptides, no human growth hormone, no testosterone,” the 62-year-old emphasised. “There’s nothing wrong if people want to do those things. But there’s an alternative. You can do it naturally with exercise and food. Is it harder? Yes. Does it take more work? Yes. But that’s how I choose to do it, and it’s 100 percent attainable.”
However, Lenny insisted that he never wants to appear too bulky.
“I want a very narrow silhouette, more like Spider-Man meets Bruce Lee, you know what I mean? Bruce Lee looked good in clothes. He’s bad – a thin, cool guy who obviously had muscle tone and who moved and flowed really gracefully,” he added.
The Fly Away star is currently touring the UK and Europe, with upcoming stops in Poland, Lithuania, and Estonia.
