Liam and Noel Gallagher celebrated Manchester City’s Carabao Cup victory together at Wembley Stadium.
At the final in London on Sunday, the Oasis brothers’ team Man City beat Arsenal 2-0 to win the League Cup trophy for the eighth time in their history.
The Gallaghers have been avid fans of the club since they were children in Burnage, Manchester, in the 1970s, and were in the stands at Wembley to see the team lift the trophy together.
It is the first time the brothers have been seen together in public since the final date of the Oasis Live ’25 comeback tour in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in November last year.
Noel designed the font on City’s home kit for the 2024/25 season and then designed a new clothing range for the team inspired by the 1994 Oasis album, Definitely Maybe.
In other Oasis news, producer Steven Knight recently shared more details about his upcoming documentary on the reunion tour.
“It’s phenomenal,” Knight said. “We’ve got it down to four hours, so we’ve gotta get it down. But it’s a documentary with a plot. It’s actually got a story. And then we’ve expanded it. You’ll see when you see it.”
Noel has also spoken about the documentary, saying: “I’ve only seen a tiny little bit of it and it’s difficult to have an opinion on it because I’m only looking at little snippets.
“Everyone who has seen it, or seen more of it than I have, has said that it’s amazing. If it even captures five per cent of what that tour was, it’ll be astonishing. Looking forward to it.”
