Liam Gallagher has offered his take on a Saturday Night Live sketch that poked fun at his feud with brother Noel Gallagher.
During the latest episode of the long-running comedy show that aired over the weekend, Sarah Sherman and James Austin Johnson portrayed the Oasis bandmates – who famously feuded for decades – as part of the Weekend Update segment.
“I’m cool if he’s cool,” Johnson declared as Noel, with Sherman responding as Liam: “I’m cool. I’m cool. I’m cooler than you are.”
Later, host Colin Jost asked the “brothers” to rank their favourite cartoon characters, name their top Sex and the City boyfriend, and list their go-to Will Smith films.
Of course, the pair can’t agree on anything, and to conclude the bit, Johnson and Sherman yelled in unison, “We’re not going on tour!”
However, the segment didn’t go down too well with the real Liam, and he took to X on Sunday to post a scathing response.
“Are they meant to be comedians,” the 52-year-old fired.
Noel, 57, has not yet commented on the three-minute-long sketch.
In August, Liam and Noel announced they would reform Oasis for performances set to take place across cities in the U.K. and Ireland starting in July 2025, almost 15 years after they disbanded the group in 2009.
Following huge demand, the Wonderwall hitmakers added additional concert dates for gigs in North America and Australia.
