Nat & Alex Wolff have released their new single ‘Soft Kissing Hour’, featuring backing vocals from no less than Billie Eilish – check out the track below.
The sibling act, who got their start on Nickelodeon’s The Naked Brothers Band in the late-’00s, are currently serving as the opening act on Eilish’s ‘Hit Me Hard and Soft’ tour, with their stint ending with three shows at New York’s Madison Square Garden from October 16-18.
Now they have shared their latest single ‘Soft Kissing Hour’, a hushed, finger-plucked acoustic track that includes vocal contributions from the pop megastar. Check it out here:
Sharing the song on their Instagram, the duo wrote: “It’s out!!!!! We’ve never been prouder of anything in our lives. @billieeilish is a brilliant artist and producer and unfathomable talent and the opportunity to collaborate with her on this song was a dream come true.”
“Alex, Billie and I (Nat) sat in a room until 4 AM with a piano an acoustic guitar and one handheld mic. No professional equipment, no recording engineer, no “adults”, just three people who love each other eating vegan chocolate and making music. If you listen really closely, you can hear Shark (Billie’s beloved pup) snoring in some of the tracks. “Forget the day before this….it’s the soft kissing hour and you have all the power.”
In other Eilish news, she has been discussing her pop peers Chappell Roan, Charli XCX and Sabrina Carpenter. When asked if she felt “threatened” by their recent success, she replied: “Are you kidding me? I’m so happy for these bitches. It’s a crazy world when you get to the level they’re experiencing right now, and they’re doing great. Fans are drawn to them because they’re fucking awesome.”
She has also stated that she never wants to talk about her sexuality “ever, ever, ever” again, after Variety seemingly outed her in an interview last year, which became a huge story. “I also underestimate that things I say will be blown up into the biggest news of the whole world.” she said. “That’s so unnatural.”
Eilish has also formally endorsed Kamala Harris for President, saying her election to the White House would make her “feel safe as a woman in my country”.
She will also be the musical guest on the October 19 episode of Saturday Night Live, alongside host Michael Keaton.
