Lizzo has responded to Antonio Brown’s joke about her and her alleged Ozempic use on her social media.
Following the presidential election – which saw Trump win, making him the first ex-President to go back to the role in more than 130 years – the ‘Juice’ singer took to her official X/Twitter account and shared a video of her writing on a piece of paper, sending her love to the country.
Brown – the retired NFL player who is known for his unfiltered comments – quoted her tweet and added the caption: “She hold the pen like she hold her ozempic shot…..”
Ozempic is a drug typically used for diabetes but has been garnering attention as a weight loss supplement.

Yesterday (November 11), Lizzo shared a carousel of photos of her while vacationing on her Instagram account and hit back at Brown with a caption that read: “Holding life like an ozempic pen.. 😝.”
The ‘Truth Hurts’ singer has previously addressed fans’ allegations that she’s used Ozempic to aid her weight loss journey. The allegations arose after the singer started sharing videos on social media of her losing weight.
Back in September, Lizzo responded to the allegations, singling out a comment on one of her posts that reads: “Did she use Ozempic or did she snort coke?”. In her latest post, Lizzo wrote: “When you finally get ozempic allegations after five months of weight training and calorie deficit”.
She has been very candid about her weight loss journey, as she has posted several videos and photos of her going through training with a medicine ball and more.
During Halloween this year, she took the occasion to once again address Ozempic allegations, by dressing as a glam version of the diet-suppressing drug.
In other news, Lizzo recently retracted her previous comments that she was taking a “gap year”.
While attending the Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit last month, the singer was asked about her extended break – which she first announced on social media in August.
Rolling Stone reports that in response to the question, Lizzo chuckled: “‘Gap year’? Girl, who said ‘gap year’? I launched my company Yitty in 2022 at the same time as my album, ‘Special’… As soon as I stepped down home from tour — I may not be as public-facing — but I went straight to Yitty headquarters, and I’ve just been working, working, working. You may not see me, but I’ve been working. This ain’t a gap year, it’s a grind year.”
