Louis Tomlinson is heading in one direction it seems, as How Did I Get Here? is on course to earn this week’s Number 1.

His third LP could net Louis his second chart-topping solo album, following 2022’s Faith In The Future.

With bandmate Harry Styles tracking for the Number 1 single with Aperture this week, a first-ever solo 1D chart double is on the cards, people. It feels like 2012 all over again!

And the Harry hype doesn’t stop there. As he ushers in his KISS ALL THE TIME. DISCO, OCCASIONALLY. era, Harry’s House (21) and Fine Line (26) are predicted to jump eleven places each after re-entering the Top 40 last Friday.

However, metal band Megadeth are looking to spoil the pop party, as their self-titled release, the last of their career, could break Directioners’ hearts (2). Fighting for the top spot, their current Number 2 position would earn the American outfit their highest-charting record to date.

Scottish singer-songwriter Callum Beattie is also looking to chinch a new personal best with INDI (3). Also eyeing a maiden Top 10, it would surpass 2023’s Vandals which peaked at Number 22.

MIKA returns with his seventh studio album Hyperlove, which is tracking to break the Top 5 (5), and obtain MIKA’s strongest position since 2009’s The Boy Who Knew Too Much.

British rock outfit The Damned could be celebrating their 50th anniversary with a Top 10 accolade following the release of Not Like Everybody Else (6).

With the release of their first music in almost four years with Opening Night, the lead single lifted from War Child Records’ upcoming HELP(2) compilation, Arctic Monkeys’ 2013 project AM (15) could see strong movement, as their 2006 debut Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not, which celebrated its 20th anniversary last week, could propel back into the Top 40 (34).

US singer-songwriter Poppy could make her first Top 40 appearance with Empty Hands (28), as fellow country star Lucinda Williams finds World’s Gone Wrong in line to become her fifth Top 40 record (30).
