Louis Tomlinson is seeing how far his upcoming album How Did I Get Here? can take him on the the 2026 How Did We Get Here? World Tour.

The North American leg of the trek will include the singer-songwriter’s first headlining show at Madison Square Garden as a solo artist. The show is scheduled for July 8, just a few weeks after the stateside run kicks off on June 3. Tomlinson will make additional stops at arenas in Seattle, Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, and more.

General sale for the North American shows begins Friday, Oct. 10, at 10 a.m. local time, following an artist presale scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 8, at 10 a.m. local time.

Routing details for the How Did We Get Here? World Tour follows the announcement of How Did I Get Here?, out Jan. 23. “I sum up it as ‘The record I always deserved to make,” Tomlinson shared in a statement earlier this week. “My bread and butter is my honesty. I genuinely wear my heart on my sleeve, and I hope it comes through in the music … For the first time now, I’m allowing myself to be the artist I’d always hoped to be.”

Tomlinson previewed the record with the summer-ready single “Lemonade.” “The most important thing was for the first single to sound ambitious sonically. It had to be big and fun,” he said. “To me, ‘Lemonade’ really has instant and natural personality. It ended up being the perfect way to begin this chapter.”
