Lulu reunites Take That icons for historic Royal Albert Hall performance

British music legend Lulu made a triumphant return to the stage last night, headlining a spectacular, sold-out one-off show at London’s Royal Albert Hall to celebrate her remarkable career. Introduced by television presenter Graham Norton, the star-studded evening featured a series of high-profile guest appearances, culminating in a historic pop reunion that stunned the live audience.

In the most anticipated moment of the night, Lulu was joined on stage by Gary Barlow and Robbie Williams to perform the chart-topping Take That classic “Relight My Fire.” The performance marked the first time in over 15 years that the three artists have performed the hit song together live. The energetic rendition got the entire audience on its feet, matching the vocal power of the original 1993 recording.

Before the big reunion, both pop icons delivered individual collaborative performances alongside the headliner. Barlow took to the piano to perform a soulful version of the Take That ballad “A Million Love Songs” with Lulu. Williams then took the stage to duet on his signature anthem “Angels,” before both men united for the grand finale.

The evening featured several other major musical collaborations across the setlist. Australian singer-songwriter Delta Goodrem joined Lulu for a vibrant performance of her 1969 Eurovision-winning track “Boom Bang a Bang,” followed by a performance of her own hit song, “Eclipse.” Culture Club frontman Boy George also surprised the crowd, joining Lulu for an energetic duet of the classic pop hit “Karma Chameleon.”

Beyond the musical celebration, the high-profile concert served a vital charitable purpose. The event successfully raised substantial funds for Lulu’s Mental Health Trust, administered via Prism the Gift Fund. The charity initiative draws widespread support from the creative community, with several notable figures spotted in the audience, including artist Tracey Emin, filmmaker David Furnish, actor Brian Cox, actress Rashida Jones, and Vampire Weekend frontman Ezra Koenig.
