The Swedish artist will take to the stage at KOKO in Camden Town on Thursday June 11. She’ll be performing in support of her sixth studio album, ‘The Afterparty’, which is set for release on May 8.

Tickets go on general sale at 10am BST this Friday (April 24) – you’ll be able to buy yours here. Alternatively, O2 customers can access a pre-sale at the same time tomorrow (Wednesday April 22). KOKO members will be able to buy early tickets on Thursday (23).

Check out the announcement post below.

The news of Li’s return to the capital comes on the heels of her slots at Coachella 2026 this month. She is also scheduled to make appearances at various European festivals this summer, such as Roskilde, Way Out West and Rock En Seine.

In July, she’ll open for Wolf Alice at their huge homecoming concert at London’s Finsbury Park alongside The Last Dinner Party, Rachel Chinouriri, Florence Road and Keo. Li is set to support Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds at Dublin’s Malahide Castle, too. She’ll then open for Robyn in Mexico City this September.

The singer-songwriter has already previewed ‘The Afterparty’ with three singles: ‘Lucky Again’, ‘Knife In The Heart’ and most recently ‘Sick Of Love’.

At the start of this year, Li revealed that the album could be her final full-length project. “It was a motherfucker to make,” she said. “It’s called ‘The Afterparty’, and the way I make albums is I sit in my car and I have a matcha with a plastic lid that I feel so guilty about.”

She went on to say that she had a feeling of uncertainty about the world when she was working on the record – particularly when it came to topics including “Trump” and “AI” – and added that it would make her feel like she had woken up with “a huge hangover”.

‘The Afterparty’ will follow on from 2022’s ‘Eyeye’, and saw Li work with producers Björn Yttling, Dave Sitek and Rick Nowels.

Speaking to NME in 2024, Lykke Li similarly opened up about how her outlook on the world had shaped her approach to new material. She said the music she was making at the time was “dealing with the sense that we’re at the afterparty of the world”.

“Each time I write I always try to go into a new world – a new era,” she told us. “I know exactly what it is now. I’m pretty far. It’s deep, but also more fun than the last one.”
