Madonna and Sabrina Carpenter show off their acrobatic skills in the glossy new video for their single ‘Bring Your Love’ – watch below.
The song was the second track to be released from the Queen of Pop’s 15th studio album ‘Confessions II’, which is due for release on July 3. The follow-up to 2005’s ‘Confessions On A Dance Floor’, it is available for pre-order here.
‘Bring Your Love’ was premiered live during Madonna’s surprise appearance at Carpenter’s headline set at Coachella in April, and now the official video has been released for the slick dance track.
Drawing from footage from the 14-minute Confessions II – The Film, which premiered at the Tribeca Festival earlier this month and can be seen in full here, the ‘Bring Your Love’ clip sees the two singers performing in a glossy, retro-future nightclub setting, with topless male dancers and dramatic swooping camera work.
They both gracefully pull shapes as they fly through the air towards the end of the video, while Weapons and Ozark star Julia Garner makes a cameo appearance. Watch here:
The full-length Confessions II film also sees appearances from the likes of Kate Moss, Benedict Cumberbatch, Richard E. Grant, Shygirl, Arca, Honey Dijon, Cole Palmer and Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon.
Madonna surprised fans in New York City earlier this month, playing an impromptu set at Times Square where she gave a live debut to the new song ‘Love Sensation’, which she later released to streaming services.
‘Confessions II’ will be Madonna’s first record since her 14th album ‘Madame X’, which arrived in 2019, and it sees her reuniting with ‘Confessions’ producer Stuart Price.
“When Stuart Price and I first started working on this record, this was our manifesto: We must dance, celebrate, and pray with our bodies,” Madonna explained.
“To rave is an art. It’s about pushing your limits and connecting to a community of like-minded people,” she added. “Sound, light, and vibration reshape our perceptions, pulling us into a trance-like state. The repetition of the bass, we don’t just hear it but we feel it. Altering our consciousness and dissolving ego and time.”
Madonna has also been confirmed as one of the co-headliners for the first ever FIFA World Cup halftime show, alongside Shakira and BTS, and has implored fans to “put your fucking phones down and connect” when at live shows.
