The latest collection of love songs from Ball and Boe, it could become the duo’s fourth Number 1 album together, following Together (2016), Together Again (2017), and festive collection Together at Christmas (2020). Michael Ball has also earned two Number 1 records as a soloist; Michael Ball (1992) and Coming Home To You (2019).
Not too far behind at Number 2 midweek are Lancaster rockers Massive Wagons. Earth To Grace is set to become the band’s first Top 3 charting album ever, and their third to place inside the Top 10.
Primal Scream are on track for their first Top 10 album in 16 years with 12th studio LP Come Ahead (5). It’s the Scottish rock outfit’s first album of new material in eight years, and their prospective eighth Top 10 album.
Fellow Scottish export Nathan Evans could also see his second album 1994 enter the UK Top 10 this week (8). It would be his first to enter the Official Albums Chart.
In celebration of the 15th anniversary of their debut album, JLS could see their self-titled record re-enter the Top 40 thanks to an anniversary reissue (12). JLS originally topped the Official Albums Chart in 2009 and contained two UK Number 1 singles; Beat Again and Everybody In Love.
A trio of up-and-coming UK acts, Fimiguerrero, Len & Lancey Foux, have teamed up for the collaborative album CONGLOMERATE (25) which could become all three acts’ first charting record in the UK.
Further down, The Charlatans’ third album Up To Our Hips could re-enter the Top 40 in celebration of its 30th anniversary (32) and The Orb’s Orboretum: The Orb Collection is looking to gift the electronic group their ninth Top 40 album (36).
