According to early streaming and sales data from the Official Chart First Look, the title track from Cyrus’s upcoming studio album enters the mid-week chart update at Number 13. If it maintains its momentum through to Friday, the release will mark her 27th UK Top 40 single.
At the top of the chart, HUGEL’s collaboration with Imael Angel and Ultra Nate on ‘Movin’ To The Sun’ is mounting a challenge for the Number 1 spot. The track currently leads the preliminary standings, threatening to displace last week’s chart-topper, ‘Choosin’ Texas’ by Ella Langley, which moves to Number 2.
Elsewhere in the Top 10, Dua Lipa’s ‘Training Season’ continues its surge, moving up nine places in the mid-week update to Number 9 and threatening a return to the top tier. Stella Lefty’s ‘Boston’ climbs to a new peak at Number 3, while Sienna Spiro holds two positions within the preliminary Top 10 with ‘Great Expectation’ at Number 4 and ‘Die On This Hill’ at Number 10. Sam Fender and Olivia Dean’s ‘Rein Me In’ sits at Number 5, followed by Dolly Parton’s classic ‘9 To 5’ at Number 6.
Further down the chart, several singles are tracking toward new peaks. Slovak pop singer ADÉLA reaches Number 21 with ‘Ain’t In LA’, while Ella Langley places a second track in the chart update as ‘Be Her’ rises to Number 25.
New entries lower in the standings include YouTuber and musician James Marriott, who is on course for his second Top 40 appearance with ‘Burn Down The Disco’ at Number 30. UK rapper Nemzzz and American artist Travis Scott also make an early appearance inside the Top 40 with their collaborative single ‘GASS’ at Number 38.
The final Official Singles Chart Top 100 will be published on Friday evening.
