‘Music Bank in Madrid’ has announced a new venue for its October concert, following an unexpected cancellation by Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.
K-pop concert ‘Music Bank in Madrid’ will now take place at the Miguel Ríos Auditorium in Rivas Vaciamadrid on its originally scheduled date of October 12. The news comes after Real Madrid unexpectedly announced the cancellation of all its events and concerts at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium two weeks ago, a month ahead of the show.
In a statement, organiser Korean Power said that the cancellation of the concert by Real Madrid had been a “unilateral decision”, adding that it and the KBS Music Bank team had been “caught by surprise” by the news. “Since then, we have been working day and night […] to find an alternative,” the Korean Power team said.
The organiser described the Miguel Ríos Auditorium as “the only one available in the Madrid regions with the necessary capacity to accommodate everyone who had already purchased theit tickets, without compromising any of the artists and technical production aspects”.

According to the organiser, all purchased tickets will remain valid at the new venue, though the previously seated tickets will now be standing tickets on both the floor and stands due to space limitations and evacuation safety protocol. It also shared a new venue layout and ticket categories for the concert.
There will be no change to the concert’s line-up, which includes K-pop groups aespa, BOYNEXTDOOR, ENHYPEN, KISS OF LIFE, MAMAMOO+, NMIXX, P1Harmony and RIIZE. Ticket holders who are no longer able or interested in attending the concert can request for a refund via ticketing site SeeTickets’ customer service portal by October 2.
