The Deluxe Edition will also be available to purchase in 2LP configurations such as as a picture disc, zoetrope, and colour vinyl variants, as well as 2CD and cassette. Those attending select dates of the band’s ‘Black Parade’ tour between July 10 and October 31 will also be able to buy a special BL/ind tour edition vinyl.

To celebrate, MCR have dropped the reissue’s first bonus track, ‘Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na) (Recorded For BBC Radio 1)’. The news also comes alongside the album and its singles ‘SING’ and ‘Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na)’ officially being certified platinum in the US.

When ‘Danger Days’ first dropped, NME gave the album a four-star rating. We called ‘Danger Days’ “the third and final stage of reinventing themselves as a world dominating pop/rock group, and it is utterly fantastic.

“This is the album they were born to make. It gives us all the things that punk has never been able to provide: romance, sex, the adventure of the open road and sheer nihilism-banishing energy.”

Elsewhere, My Chemical Romance are reportedly working on a secret theatre project.
