Recorded during their 2023 Get Rollin’ Tour, live album features their duets with Brantley Gilbert, HARDY, and Daughtry
Nickelback‘s Nashville show last year was a big blowout celebration that’s been captured for a new album, Nickelback: Live From Nashville. The band previewed the album, out on Nov. 15, with a live version of their Get Rollin’ track “San Quentin.”
The Live From Nashville album was recorded during Nickelback’s stop in the city during their 2023 Get Rollin’ Tour. While headlining Bridgestone Arena, they were joined by a slew of special guests: Daughtry, HARDY, Brantley Gilbert, Josh Ross, ERNEST, and Bailey Zimmerman. The duets were a mix of covers of those artists’ songs (like HARDY’s “Sold Out”) or the guests getting the chance to sing a Nickelback classic (like Zimmerman joining for “Rockstar”).
The Canadian rock band’s tour last year was in support of Get Rollin’, the group’s 2022 LP. Earlier this year, they also released a new documentary titled Hate to Love. Directed by Leigh Brooks, the film explores Nickelback’s controversial place in music amongst critics and fans and how they have continued to be massive in spite of that.
Last year, Nickelback was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. Following their Get Rollin’ Tour, the group appeared at Coachella’s country-focused sister festival Stagecoach in Indio this spring. HARDY joined them again, as well as Jelly Roll who delivered “Rockstar” with the group.
