Nicki Minaj has thanked U.S. President Donald Trump for gifting her a signed copy of the Bible.
Taking to X on Sunday, the Super Bass hitmaker posted a close-up photo of a copy of the Holy Bible featuring the leader’s signature on the front.
Leather-bound and embossed with the American flag, the religious text features the wording, “Donald J. Trump 45th President of the United States Signature Edition” and “God Bless the USA” beneath the title.
“One of the most meaningful gifts I’ve ever received in my entire life,” she wrote in the caption.
In addition, Trump appeared to have sent Minaj a black pen engraved with his signature in gold.
Minaj didn’t offer any further details as to why the politician presented her with the Bible.
However, the rapper received mixed reactions to the gift in the comments section.
“Signing bibles is… just… NOT it,” one follower wrote, while another asked: “Can you autograph a book that someone else wrote?”
Though some X users expressed their hope that Minaj treats the Bible as a family heirloom.
“That’s an incredibly beautiful gift. One that is passed down for generations. It shows the future how far from the past we have come,” one person mused.
Of late, Minaj has been a vocal supporter of Trump, and in January, she called herself “probably the President’s number one fan”.
“The hate – or what people have to say – it does not affect me at all. It actually motivates me to support him more. And it’s going to motivate all of us to support him more,” the 43-year-old declared at the Trump Accounts Summit. “We’re not going to let them get away with bullying him. He has a lot of force behind him, and God is protecting him. Amen?”
