Oasis 2027 European tour grows more likely as Liam Gallagher tells Italian fans they will “without a doubt, 100 per cent” play Rome next year

A European Oasis tour for 2027 seems more likely, as Liam Gallagher has told Italian fans the band will be playing in Rome next year.

Last year, the iconic Britpop band returned with their Live 25 reunion tour, which saw them play 41 dates across Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, Dublin, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Seoul, Tokyo, Melbourne, Sydney, Santiago and Buenos Aires, before wrapping up in São Paulo in November.

Since then, fans have been speculating that they may head out on the road again. Last year, Liam ruled out any 2026 tour dates – but did suggest something may be in the works for 2027.

Though he denied that Oasis may potentially return to Knebworth, he also implied that more live dates could be on the way. When asked if he was feeling “sad that the tour is ending soon” back in November, Liam cheekily wrote back: “I’m not actually, as I know things you don’t know”.

Now, he seems to have confirmed rumours of future European dates. While greeting fans in Rome yesterday (April 23), one asked him if he’d be in “Roma next year”, to which the frontman replied: “Without a doubt. 100 per cent.”

Liam has long been teasing future dates. At the last Wembley show of their comeback run in September, he once again added more fuel to rumours of future Oasis gigs when he told fans “See you next year”, before jokingly slapping himself on the wrist for letting it slip.

Meanwhile, the band’s guitarist, Gem Archer, hinted in December that the Britpop legends may continue to tour very soon, saying that Noel Gallagher had joked that there is “no rest for the immensely talented”.

NME gave the band’s tour kickoff in Cardiff on July 4 a glowing five-star review, which read: “Lord knows we needed a taste of that halcyon ‘90s hope and abandon in 2025 – especially for the raving and craving Gen-Zers. The world is a rotting shitty bin-fire and tomorrow never knows, but tonight, you’re a rock’n’roll star.”

In other Oasis news, it was recently announced that the iconic Britpop band are set to enter the Rock Hall at an event in Los Angeles this November. They were nominated for the third time earlier this year, following two previous nods in 2024 and 2025.

The announcement came following Liam Gallagher reacting to Oasis’ 2024 Rock Hall nomination by saying it was “full of BUMBACLARTS” and discouraging fans from voting for them at the time.

He then reiterated his sentiments last year, saying the Hall Of Fame was “for WANKERS”.

After finding out they were being inducted in 2026, the frontman suggested that he’d manifest it by bringing some “reverse psychology vibes”, and also shared that his mother has told him to “stop being a dick” and attend the ceremony later this year.

Meanwhile, Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight recently shared more details about his new Oasis documentary. He confirmed that the “phenomenal” project – which follows the Gallaghers’ return to the stage – was currently four hours long.

Noel had previously discussed the doc, saying: “I’ve only seen a tiny little bit of it and it’s difficult to have an opinion on it because I’m only looking at little snippets.

“Everyone who has seen it, or seen more of it than I have, has said that it’s amazing. If it even captures five per cent of what that tour was, it’ll be astonishing. Looking forward to it.”

He explained: “The gigs were amazing, particularly the ones in Manchester, and I’m kind of lost for words for it, really. The gigs spoke for themselves.”
